這是一個十分難忘和難得的經驗。首先，我們很少有機會參觀香港中文大學的生物醫學院，而這個活動正正提供了這個機會。另外，在參加這個活動之前，我從來都不知道甚麼是Imaging core，但在活動後我終於知道原來Imgibe Core 是一個有關於電腦和顯微鏡合成的生物細胞影象的範疇，所以這次的活動亦令我獲益良多。

Through this activities I learned a lot about what biomedicine is about and get the chance to get a closer look at some professional experimental facilities. I knew more about this subject and can think clearer about what major I want to take in the future and their admission requirements and this gives me the motivation to learn harder to do preparation for my future university study. But I feel like this workshop is not specific enough.

I think this event involved in the history core is very interesting. Then I learned a lot about the combination of biology and medicine in the process, and I saw the lab in the university.I was amazed by the production of the slide cuz I had never tried to make one by myself.The  teachers there are nice and they teaches us patiently.They talked about the struture of the tounge and I was shocked that our tounge have more than10000 cells.The front of the tongue, the tip of the tongue, has a lot of sweet taste buds.The front half of the tongue, responsible for salty taste,The second half, responsible for sourness,Near the root of the tongue, responsible for bitterness.I think this event has benefited me a lot.

I think this activity is meaningful. it can teach much more than testbook also it can give my strong impression so i can remember it faster just looking to the book. This activity teached me the stracture of organs and the preperation before the expriment,it increase my basic uncerstanding about Biology.Beside,i have learnt about the image showm by the microscope can be coloured by other chemicals, these chemicals have different usage, for example, Haematoxylin can used to canstain nucleus. Also, we can carry out experiment by ourself. in the school or lesson, we don't have this chances, and can colour the species. During this activity, i also know more about electrons microscope.The helpers there were nice, they told a lot of information about microscope and answered all my question. This allow me can know more about their properties and the difference between them. i hope our school can held more activity just like this one.

今次到中文大學參觀的體驗比較特別 參觀的大樓較新 而且不是在中大的中心 而是較外圍 生物醫學對我來說很陌生 其實生物醫學是利用生物的知識和研究來實踐醫學 當中水生生物學(aquatic)是其中一部分 參觀時Dr Lau和她的同事都很熱心招待我們 我們進行了幾個活動 包括為樣本染色 又看到了各種學校沒有的電子顯微鏡 真的有所得着 希望下次還有機會參加這類難得的活動
 

I am glad that I have a chance to join the CU visit. Actually, this was my second time of visiting CU.Through joining the activities, I learnt more about the histology core. During the activities, I enjoyed doing the experiment that I learnt more cells structure and we could keep it home as a souvenir. Also, we saw some gigantic microscopes and images produced by those microscopes. They were amazing.  Since I was studying microscopes in biology at that time, so they won't be too complicated for me to understand. Moreover, we saw some fish and frogs in tanks which were stored in a small room. There was a machine that fed the fish automatically in a certain period of time. I think it was interesting and this activity is a good opportunity for me to absorb more biological knowledge rather than just learn at school. So I think this is a rare opportunity.

I think this activity can let me know more about the structure of our tongue and how to make a cell observation under different microscope. For example light microscope and electron microscope. Although our school do not have electron microscope, we can still have this chance to watch this such big electron.  Moreover this is a great opportunity to learn more about other things we cannot learn in our school syllabus for example we can know the process of cutting the organelle into a thin piece and how to make the organelle structure more clear, and the way for making it more clear is used different solution. I enjoy this activity and I want to go to there again.

我是2B班陳康葵，今次很開心有機會走進中文大學羅桂祥綜合生物醫學大樓，令我大開眼界。經過走廊，看到天花板上設有花灑拉掣，原來是為了做實驗時，倘若有化學品濺到身上時，可以馬上冲身。進入實驗室必需嚴慬的消毒程序和穿著白袍。有一部小𨋢，原來只専門運送實驗室的白老鼠，牠們很潔淨，從未在地上走過的，很可愛啊。博士介紹各種生物給我們看，一個像盛裝菠蘿的罐頭，把它保持冷藏，原來裡面是蝦的卵子，只要放在缸中，便可以培殖了，我們單憑肉眼看不見蝦，其中一罐是圓錐體盛有透明水，另一罐內盛有泥水，分別設有氧氣泵，牠們細小得像小灰塵一樣，但充滿生命力的。還我們又看到有大小不同的蛙，牠們時呆時躍，原來有些剛剛生產完，又有一些曾服藥。還有很多不同種類的斑馬魚，標示了牠們的種類、名稱、雌性或雄性等資料，作為實驗用途。我最想有機會嘗試使用電子顯微鏡，看看生物的微妙世界。我期望再有機會，再到中文大學醫學大樓，探索更多有關生物的精彩奧秘。

這是我的第一次參觀香港中文大學，也是我的第一次參觀這麼大的校社。我一直想一睹中大醫學大樓的風彩，這次終於如願以償，進入了中大醫學院的實驗室，了解了生物醫學的意思和種類，便參觀了兩種顯微鏡，這兩種顯微鏡都是普通實驗室不能容納的大型顯微鏡。然後我們又去了關於水生生物學的養殖室，裏面養了很多魚，蝦和青蛙，大部分都是用來做實驗的。經過這次的參觀，我對生物醫學有了更深的認識，也有了更濃厚的興趣。
